In Iliana's Words

Some of the skills I have learned/improved upon due to my time on the council are (but not limited to) remote team collaboration, project management, storyboarding for videos, video editing, event planning, public speaking, and more! In a way, I don’t think any of us really stop growing from Maven Youth, we just also start giving back. The ways in which all of us can give back to Maven Youth are pretty extensive.

Iliana has been involved with Maven Youth since 2015. They have been a leader, intern, council member, program assistant and are now an instructor. Meanwhile, they have interned with a few tech companies until they eventually transitioned into a Software Engineer at Apollo GraphQL.
